yea, after I got it installed I thought the same thing so I am in the process of painting my old bezel and will instal it soon!!!

Now I don't know about painting the tailgate...probably wait to do that when I get a roll pan.

I agree about the t-gate bezel. Needs some wheels to look complete, maybe 18-20s.
