So I've been trying to decide on some wheels. I'm currently running the stock UGLY steel 16s with some worn out Michelin rubber.
I was deciding between Titan 18s or Denali 17s. I really want a 8" wide tire so I can fit 285s per Toyo's spec. I was browsing ebay and came across almost new Escalade 18" takeoffs with tires for $500-750. They are 8" wide. I'm not completely sold on the looks but I would rather have a GM wheel on my truck than a Nissan wheel and have to deal with their badge.
What do you think? The Michelin tires cost me $650 alone so I think this is a better route to go.

I like 'em - and having the GM DNA to the road is nice, too.
Do you have Craigslist in your area? If so, there might be some take-offs listed there too. I've bought & sold this way, and have had great luck. Something to be said for being able to inspect before handing over the cash...and not dealing with shipping expense or hassle. Good luck!
