The cover is one piece and its off a v6. Where he put the bowtie it said V6 DOHC. In order to mount it you have to make a bracket and put two screws facing up that are the same size, or slightly larger than the holes on the bottom of the cover. Then you just snap the cover on over the screws. The back also has to have a bracket made, but you can just make it so the cover rest on it, it doesn't have to snap in place since the front holds it down enough.

Ah. Well I dont want that thing flapping around on top of my intake. Cam shake will be pretty heavy.

I can't remember off hand. I will have to go through my reciepts and see if I can find it. I do remember it was a little over $100.

Hmm, I thought it was either a SSR or Holden cover. I'll have to dig around since I checked into this last year or so and it was $300 or so.

you know what, now that you mention it, i think it might be a holden cover, I'll have to do some digging as well, I think we may be onto something watson!

I dont think its a Holden cover. There arent any mountng bosses on top of the LS1 intake like there is on a truck intake. Wouldnt be anything for the cover to mount to.
