dynamat.... or other alternative
#1
I bought a center console to install in my truck and I'm wanting to do some type of sound deadening while I have all the interior out. only brand I know of is dynamat,
are there cheaper brands with just as good quality?
how much do I need to order?

nice install!
so you did one layer on the inside of the door and doubled up behind the speaker plus a foam layer?
then a single layer on the outside of door, roof, back of cab
i couldn't find the stuff you used on the floor?

I remember i got 2 different thicknesses, I can't remember where the thicker stuff went. But everything got at least 1 layer...
Call up the place i posted, that guy was extremely helpful and estimated all the stuff i needed and made recommendations on the thicknesses...

I used b-quiet extreme in the truck and fatmat in the Tahoe and they were comparable products. They were both fairly affordable, easy to install and seem to do what they advertise.
