Question dynamat.... or other alternative

I bought a center console to install in my truck and I'm wanting to do some type of sound deadening while I have all the interior out. only brand I know of is dynamat,

are there cheaper brands with just as good quality?

how much do I need to order?

its been so long but i think i did a layer on the inside of the door, and on the outside of the door. I also added foam sound deadening on top of the outside of the door.

I remember i got 2 different thicknesses, I can't remember where the thicker stuff went. But everything got at least 1 layer...

Call up the place i posted, that guy was extremely helpful and estimated all the stuff i needed and made recommendations on the thicknesses...

I used b-quiet extreme in the truck and fatmat in the Tahoe and they were comparable products. They were both fairly affordable, easy to install and seem to do what they advertise.
