I would like to drop my truck, but I don't want it sitting level. I like the stance of it now, but just want it lower.
I was thinking about getting some 2" drop springs for the rear, but instead of getting the ones for a 2wd RCSB, get them for a 4wd ECSB. I was thinking that should stiffen the rear up some as well as hold weight, like an atv, better than the stock prings. I would like to get about 2-3" from the rear, and drop the front 2" with springs.
Are there any disadvantages to not buying new spindles with the springs when you drop the front?

If you just want 2" in the rear, why not just go with shackles? A lot cheaper and less work. You should be fine up front with 2" springs. Mine aligns just fine with no camber problems.

well i can tell you from personal experience stiffining the back will give you a bad choppy ride. i have control arms in front so stock ride then 4" springs out back and they are stiffer. eventualy i might go back to stock springs with shackles and hangers but not sure.
i am use to the ride but i would deffinatly go with a shackle and get towing capacity some were else.
my truck is droped 4-4 and i like it.
