try removing the rear overload spring from the spring pack... it would make it sit just about right... I have done this and I must say it works well... softens up the ride a little as well. if you dont haul heavy things in the back it will never be any issue.

what kind of truck? if its a silverado 2" drop shackles looks right. it looks funny when the rear end sits lower than the front.

IMO opinion the "california drop" (front a little higher) looks nice if its done right. Also, if your shackles are new they may be tight and need to settle... mine got lower about 2 weeks after putting the kit on. When you unbolt the leaf springs, the bushngs that are pressed into the eyes need to settle again. but like I said before, the overload spring and shackles will get it sitting perfect.

2" drop shackles with spring clamps should net you a 3" drop...

I have never seen 1 inch hangers but if you could find them it would work fine. IMO the job is too much of a pain in the *** just for 1 inch of drop. to each his own though. clamps shoudl work fine too
