I need to get some slicks for my plain 17's...

Actually does anyone know is 16" rims will fit on the NNBS in the rear? I know the front wont but curious about the rear. I have some rims off my 2001 Silverado that I could also use to mount some slicks to.

Also is there a equation or chart that helps you know what size tire would work best with your gearing and setup?? I know I have heard of people going to a taller or shorter tire to help them out but never quite understood why..

Aluminum 15x10s with 325/50/15s on the rear and stock steel 17s up front with 225/50s. No time differance at all going from tahoe 20's up front with 275/55/20s to a shorter lighter wheel in the front.
