there is a thread on here somewhere, that shows how to candy your lights from a rattle can.

Yeah I guess I'm just gonna trade mine for some unpainted ones and get them taped up where the brake, blinker and reflector shine through

He told me that the hids aren't legal but they aren't permitted to right tickets over it, just warnings. I'm not takin my hids off, stock headlights blow

In my town some people i know say they have gotten pulled over for HIDs. The cop said they are ticketing people that have a vehicle that didnt come with hids.

Yeah he told me any alteration from stock is illegal. Not like it's hurting anything but every once in awhile you run into a dick

I guess ppl around here dont really care, and i live in texas... My girlfriends mustang has the entire backside blacked out and when following her in the daytime i can barely see her blinker or brake light unless i look really close. Shes been pulled over a couple times and the cops never mentioned them. As for me, im a big fan of the stock tail lights on the 03+

well i got mine off of ebay and they do had a dot imprint on them i have had to show a couple of cops where it is and tell them the law the law in tx says it has to be able to be seen from 300 feet for normal bulb on a normal light day and 1000 feet for break light. i had to tell one cop this when he was about to try and give me a ticket and told him i had the ins. person do the distantance to get it inspected so he gave a no rear red reflector ticket so what i did was went to orilles and the had like a 3in reflector that i put under each light no with the reflector it cant be the tape type it has to be a reg one or they can give you a ticket for it

oh and yeah with as dark as yours are they will get you

heres a pic of mine with the reflectors and i use put my park lights on so they dont mess with me
