are the black tahoe or yukon door handles the same as the paint to match door handles, they have different part #s. I tried to order the tahoe handles from gmpartsdirect but they kept changing my part #s to the paint to match ones. are they the same. would i have to get the paint to match ones painted or a clear coat on them even though they are a glossy black already?

 

The paint to match handles come glossy black. No need to do anything to them if that the color you want.

 

does GM sell color matched handles, or are they all just paint to match?

 

The black painted handles are p/n's 15150736 and 15150735 (L-R). Most of these part numbers can be found in THIS THREAD .

 

Most of the colors are available. I wish I had known that when I got mine.

Check the p/n thread that I linked above...I'm sure that you can get some for your truck since the SS is available in SBM.

thanks for the info fellas. i'll go ahead and order the paint to match ones since they are the same.

 

The only problem is that that thread doesn't list a part number for Carbon Metallic colored door handles, and JP customs wants 170 for a pair painted to match.
