Default do you think this would be gay???

I was wondering about putting a ss rear bumper on my truck since they come in black and everything but the wheels and front bumper and grill are black on my truck. I wouldn't put the ss badges on or anything jsut think that bumper would look better. also if anyone has one let me know.

I don't think that would be gay at all. I think it would look nice. The only thing I would wonder is how it would look without the SS's body cladding.

Why no roll pan?

I tow sometimes, plus I live in oklahoma and get rearended on average about every 2 years. Damn stupid *** drivers. not sure aboutthe body cladding, it would be pretty simple to make my truck look exactly like an ss but jsut faster. but i want mine to be more of a sleeper.

Might also wanna check into a Denali/Escalade bumper. I think a painted bumper would look really nice.

I would do more performance stuff until you have made up your mind I was in the same boat as you last year. Coincidentally, a local retard rear ended me and it was going to run about a grand to repair everything to factory specs. I got her to pay me a grand and I spent $120 for a urethane rollpan and $100 to have it painted. Buying a new rear bumper would be pretty steep unless you could get one from an SS guy that went to a rollpan. Even then the price they (dealership) quoted me to paint my Z71 bumper to match was almost double what the rollpan paint would be. Im very happy I went with the rollpan.

Does the Denali bumper or Cadillac bumper fit on a truck?

GM is not that slick, it's the same brackets, bumper and pads found on the lowest base model. Its just painted to match the truck.

I started off with a chrome bumper on my Sierra and sold the metal part. I got a grey work truck bumper and had it painted. You could also sand blast the chrome but it's a pita.
