Ive got the viper alarm as well, It works great if your always around your keyfob

The train horn alarm was my idea but i've yet to get to try it out.
i figure one small horn inside the cab is more than enough to keep them out of the vehicle.

Thats what I did after the 2nd time mine was broken into, Went and had a horn installed under my dash and wow, I know if i was tryin to steal **** outta there I wouldnt be in there long, its super LOUD..

That sucks. I HATE scumbag thieves. God will take care of them in the end. I always lock my truck and house doors. Sorry to hear about the truck.

yeah it was at work man...two guys pulled up in a 300c (which tells me it probably went directly to a pawn shop) one guy stayed in the 300 the other did all the work....it took them no longer than 3 minutes....

screw it im taking the 100 i have left from my insurance and im getting the 400 dollar viper 5902 alarm, im not going through this again....houston is notorious for truck thieves....

I spent about 480 on my alarm, 399 for the kit, and around 80 for the factory immobilizer interface. Best investment I've made with my truck so far.

I was talking to my brother who has a Colorado and is going to school in Oregon. He had guys cut the seal for the back glass and lay the back glass down in the back of the truck. Didn't break it, just cut the seal and set it in the back.

We estimate that they got 48 cents.

Serves them right. The next thing I buy will be a proximity sensor.
