Default Denali cluster for my Tahoe?

Will a Denali cluster fit in place of my stock cluster, does in have a tranny temp gauge built in, and will it work without modification? I want the tranny temp gauge to work thats why I would swap.

yes the cluster will work, also the connection for the tranny temp is already on your truck, so all you have to do is a direct plug n play.

Try emailing these folks:
http://www.sotelectronics.com/

I've never dealt with them, but have heard of people getting mileage-preprogrammed clusters on the cheap from them.

Also, just as an FYI, only 00-02 clusters will work in 00-02 trucks. The 99s are different (though not visibly), and the 03+ are different.

Call the dealer and see who they use locally. I called and they directed me to a place not to far and it only cost $45.

An 00-02 escalade cluster would also work, thats what I have. I think it cost me 50 to get the miles set. I took it to the dealer but ended up sending it to a place in california becuase after the dealer had it for about a week they told me they could not set the miles unless they could install a factory face plate since mine had an aftermarket one and they only dealt with factory gm parts, yeah but it anyway it only cost me $50.
