Smile decieving, isn't it?...

Here's a quick pic of my "Big *** SUV".....

Here's what no one expects to be under the hood. While I had the J-tube off, I painted the blower black, removed the egr, and added a few shiny bolts..

Here's what she tows...

I like the sleeper suv tow rigs. Did you run the 1/4 yet? Also, badass XJ!

Grip-

We have some paint laying around the shop. I'm not sure what it is, but I know it's fargin expensive.

Silver-

I haven't had a chance to get it to the track yet. hopefully it'll get tunes for the new throttle body and pulley this week, then I'll try and find someone to hit the track with. Yeah, and my XJ's my baby...

LOL... It's a rattle can. The powder coat actually takes paint pretty well. Just a real quick scuff, and I mean quick, with 80 grit, and I laid it on real light for about 6 or 7 coats. I taped off the manifold and whatever else I could get to. I got a bit on the manifold, fuel rails, etc, but a little acetone wiped it right off.

Cardinal something in a yellow can. I'll run out in the morning to the garage and let you know exactly what it was...

Yeah, me too. What I really like is how the Polished J-tube offsets the black. Since the UMI throttle body won't work with our standard plastic intake tube, I used some Blue hose coupling. That, and the machined aluminum look of the throttle body gives it a "race" look that I like....I'm real stoked with how it turned out.
