Here's a quick pic of my "Big *** SUV".....

Here's what no one expects to be under the hood. While I had the J-tube off, I painted the blower black, removed the egr, and added a few shiny bolts..

We have some paint laying around the shop. I'm not sure what it is, but I know it's fargin expensive.

I haven't had a chance to get it to the track yet. hopefully it'll get tunes for the new throttle body and pulley this week, then I'll try and find someone to hit the track with. Yeah, and my XJ's my baby...

was it rattle can or paint gun? how did you prep it? etc

LOL... It's a rattle can. The powder coat actually takes paint pretty well. Just a real quick scuff, and I mean quick, with 80 grit, and I laid it on real light for about 6 or 7 coats. I taped off the manifold and whatever else I could get to. I got a bit on the manifold, fuel rails, etc, but a little acetone wiped it right off.
