debadged truck

so i attempted to remove the badges on my truck today. it didnt go too well. the glue was so stuck on i couldnt get it all removed. kinda looks like **** right now but im confident i can fix it. do u guys know if a clay bar kit will help remove the remaining glue thats stuck on the paint?

Thats how i removed mine Bow-Tie-Beast have a heat gun (i used my wifes hair dryer a few times before also) and fishing line and it works great.....and any left over residue i use Goo Be Gone or decal remover.... then use a nice coat of wax.

I was thinking about useing a hair dryer but thought it wouldnt get hot enough. I have used heat guns to remove pin stripping before paint, didnt take but a few minutes. The eraser wheel method looks like it will take a little while.
