I'm a cheap bastard and refuse to buy escalade/denali interior trim, so I rattle canned the dash trim and vent surrounds. Opinions? Go ahead and love on the windshield, nothing like a cracked windshield on a 6 month old truck.



I also slapped on my 2" shackles thanks to Dirty 30.



Took my bumper off for paint, my nekkid truck (made the shackles a 15 minute job too).

I agree. It looks good, but is that really orange or do the pic just look that way. I am thinking it is just the pictures and that it is really red, like to match the exterior?

 

Yeah, it looks red in person, not exactly like the exterior, but pretty close.

 

looks good, but i would paint the part that surrouds the guages on the dash not the lens that actually surrouds guages.

I thought about that, but I'm getting SSS guages next week and I want to see how it looks as is first.

 

you should go cf around everything else and leave the red like it is, that would look awesome, but I like the cheap cost, homemade upgrades like that. It looks good and not something everyone has.

You might want to replace the windshield, I dont know if you noticed, but there is a big crack in it!!

 

Yeah, yeah... It actually happened with 400 miles on the truck, I was pissed. I do so much interstate driving I'm not going to worry about it until it gets over in front of my vision- it's just going to happen again.
