In the state of Maryland it is illegal for an insurance company to raise your rates for a comprehensive claim....ie. theft, fire, vandalism, act of nature, etc. Hitting a deer would still be an accident I guess, so not sure about that.

well thats good news, i have more good news, and lol i guess some bad, since we know the body shop that will be doing it (parents have known them a long time) they made the estimate a little high, but not much, the good news is that ill prolly get a 3k check for deer hunting with my truck, more good news is i only have a 500$ deductable since its on comp, bad news its about 3500$ worth of damage, i only gave 3900 for the truck lol, but i got a heck of a deal cuz i bought it from my step bro, as of right now, im goin to do a tahoe paintable grille, most likely ill tell them to leave the bumper and get a ss bumper cover, and leave the mirrors and ill get the cal vu mirrors, they'll replace the fenders or repair them and they said the hood was rolled, which i didnt notice, basically they will have it ready to paint (remember i said i was going to paint it soon) and ill be painting it or a family friend will be, as of right now it will be pearl white (same color code as the escalades) i dont know what all is going on as of right now, but i hope everything works out the way i want it to

 

alright, some more good news haha, im Co-Oping at the body shop my trucks goin to be at in the morning for 3 hours every day, i guess cept weekends, and working on my truck, since im in auto body, i got to thinking, im goin to have to get a new grille, headlights, cornerlights, bumper, fenders, my hoods rolled, and all the bracing, and have it on a frame straightener, so i could if i wanted order parts and convert it to something else, like the denali front end or something, since its all got to be new anyways, what kind of front end do you guys like the best? and if i do it i may change the color again, i dunno about the pearl white on the denalis, i think they look better black, but who knows, lemme know what front ends you all like!!

haha, yea, i dunno about this deer tho, lol i think i broke every bone in its body, plus we threw it off a bridge, haha
