Cutting grille shell.

I have a GMC with the stock grill still in place. Since the GMC grill is so huge, I'm afraid to cut out the stocker because I would think that the Speed Grill would need the extra support behind it. The install would look much cleaner with the stocker cut out though. Do you guys think the Speed grill would be okay without the stocker behind it on a GMC?

Ahhh, that's better. Cut it out this morning, and I must say that I'm much happier with it now. I'll post some pics soon (don't have a digital camera so I'm gonna have to wait to get my throw-away digitals developed)
