Of course my truck was keyed a month after I got. My tag had my lastname and baseball # on it. The guy that keyed it thought it was one of my friends trucks. We had both gotten new trucks(Me=Silverado, Buddy= Ranger), well the guy I guess never saw the Tag and got the trucks mixed up. And he had to walk up behind it to get to it. Enough ranting/Whoring.The custom tag idea is nice a lil add on, if you have already got some other exterior mods to set your car/truck off with.

I don't see a problem with using your screen name on your vanity plate. I wanted "SCOOTER" since my name is Scott, but that was already taken. My initials were also taken. Since I illustrate automobiles, I went with "CAR ART" on my Trans Am. The truck just has a number as I was too cheap to pay the extra $48.00 for a vanity plate. I really don't know what I'd get anyway...
Ya can't live life fearing that something's gonna happen to your ride. I can memorize a license plate number just as easily as I can a personalized plate, so it's not going to stand out too much. If someone is looking for your ride, they'll probably find it one way or another. It's too bad their are people out there that are like that, but it's a fact of life.
If you really want the vanity plate, then I say go for it.

You bring up some good points too y2k_ta...if someone's out to get ya, they'll know who you are no matter what. I think I'm still gonna go for it...eventually (been talkin about it for months now, just gotta get off my lazy **** and do it!)

Go ahead and get it. I've had vanity plates for the past 20 years, never had a problem.
But then again, it seems to be the thing to do in VA - I know more than 50% of the vehicles here have them.
