Default custom plates? what would you do?

I've been contemplating getting some custom plates for a while now that say moregrip, well, actually, "morgrip" or "moregrp".
Anyway, I'm not convinced having plates that reflect my "stage name", umm, I mean "board name", is such a great idea after all.
What are your thoughts on this?

I used to have ZOOMORA on my car, but that came before all the screen names. It came from a nick name I got in school, plus Zamora(my last name) was already taken.

Not really all that interesting.
I'm a long time motorcycle rider/fan. Been riding 17 yrs. Anyway, along with my last bike purchase, an 02 Honda CBR954RR, and when/where surfing internet forums all started for me, I signed up and needed a board name.....well......since the more grip your tires have the farther you can lean over when going through turns, I entered the name moregripmoretip (which I still use btw). moregrip seemed like a natural evolution, in my own mind anyway.

so that's about it.

I dont do it on my cars b/c it provides an easy way for people who dont have the nerve to face you in person an easy way to spot your vehicle and do damage. That and it may get around that you have some money in aftermarket stuff and it may be a little too tempting for the not so respectful non law abiding variety to single your vehicle out.

My wife and I were thinking about personalized plates...you know, *****-1 and *****-2. Yea, I know, it's kinda , but kinda cool too. As we get more vehicles we could have -3, -4, etc., kinda like our own fleet. But you guys make some good points, very easy to recognize...gonna have to think about this now. Thing is, we really got psyched up about it...decisions, decisions.

you know, I've never had custom plates, and I think you've brought up some valid points that have sunk in.

No plates for me

thanks

Well I prefer to think of myself as a realist as opposed to a pessimist (sp?)
