Default Cowl Hood Warning

For guys that have the Goodmark hood that haven't seen this or those about to get them.

DO NOT OPEN THE HOOD WITH WINDSHIELD WIPERS ON

I'm going to wire in a switch that disables the wipers if the hood is opened.

hey man dont feel bad, the first time i had my crowl open i did the same thing.....but it was the day after i got it back from getting painted.

They need to put a warning on those, b/c one other thing i noticed is that when the hood is closed you cant lift the drivers side wiper more than an inch of the windshield!

i learned the hard way with my last hood. wipers are down and off before i ever pop the hood...

also you cant stand the hood straight up to pull the motor because the cowl will hit the windshield

Had been raining the day before when I parked it. Pulled the nose into the garage to do some work under the hood the next day and started it up.

Ruined my day.

How old is your hood? Reason I ask is because when the first came out there was that issue and since then it was supposedly fixed with all of their new hoods.

If you bought yours new and recently then that's rediculous because Goodmark is aware of that problem and were supposed to fix it.

Less than 6 months old. Shipped directly from Goodmark I believe.
