Nice bro. I've wanted a cowl hood for years now, but could never bring myself to spend the money. I've got some man money saved up, about a grand from a lil sidejob I did and about another 500 comin soon....I was wanting to buy all my transmission parts and have it beefed up real good, but I might give in and get me a cowl hood ordered and painted......bout $650 would get me the one I want...

I don't even know if it has a "brand" name, the box said it was made in china. Seems to be made well and fit ok though. I did have to make an adjustment on the back lower corners of the hood as they were square instead of rounded and were going to hit the fender when closed. Not a big deal though and I don't think you can even tell.
I paid $350 for the hood and $225 for paint. The paint job could actually be a little better, but it's not terrible. It looks far better than the rest of my truck and I didn't want to pay the $400 that other shops were quoting me.
