Default Console Shifter Ideas.....maybe even a possible project

has anyone ever thought about removing the cupholders and installing a custom console shifter ??

it looks like you could use a standard cable-actuated shifter...maybe a B&M Hammer shifter like this....

you could mount it so the shifter boot mounting ring was level with the top of the console and replace the cheesy plastic shroud with a custom cut aluminum plate that matches the contours of the center console, then have the gear #'s etched into the plate......or, for an even more custom look you could layer a piece of 1/4" Lexan over the aluminum plate, etch the gear #'s into the Lexan and edge light it with hidden LED's so the gear #'s glow

how do you think it would look ??

The owner is 4GoNotShow, he's a new member on here. He was in an issue of Sport Truck.
Black silvy with a procharged, juiced and built 6.0.
Someone said he smoked a 10 second car so he must be in the mid to low 10s.
Nice setup, that's what I want to do too.
