Default cluster reprogramming

i just got a new denali cluster for my fathers truck how do i get the milage set?

when i had my ss cluster put in i took it to the dealer and they put it in and programmed the mileage and it works just fine, but they did say they cant program them if they have over 3 miles on them.

so if it has over three miles it cant be programmed thats weird

Ya the dealer can program it, They did mine for $90. And they told me it has to be a new cluster in order for them to reporgram it but idk..

well crap, mine had 0 miles and now has 22. Grrrrr!

Also, there is a fella on ebay who does reprogamming, its like $75 or something?

i need mine reporgrammed but for adifferent purpose...my needles where removed and now half of them dont read right...so can the dealership fix this?

If you can't find a Dealer that will help.Go to E-bay and enter Chevy Silverado Speedometer.You will find a few company's that do Repairs and Reprogramming.

Google "speed o tac inc" . . . mine was $120 programed and over nighted back

snapped a current pic of the mileage, mailed the pic with the cluster, and my return address.

Looking back now. . . it was a $425 mod that "looked pretty" had a 120 speedo, and the trans temp . . . and it wasn't really worth it to me
