if you don't wax then it is unprotected not to mention that the polish will probably wash off when and if it gets wet again.

I had it detailed, I'm sure they did what was needed.

Wax fills in. Polish coats over.

A few coats of polish and you won't have to worry.

I should have specified. You can wax over the polish.

But wax fills in the clear coat and traps harmful things. 3 coat of polish on my car and I don't even have to use soap when I wash it. Just a microfiber and some water.

Definitely a great tip. I really need/want to clay my truck probably in the spring when this nasty *** foggy/wet weather clears out. So I am looking for any tips that can be had.

I wouldn't be crying over $140 I had one of my trucks clayed and it was over $200, and that was a buddy discount. Atleast I thought it was...
