Default Chroming stock rims?

I have seen a truck on here with chromes stock alloy rims. What would be the best way to do this just have them powdercoated or is there some "special" chrome?
thanks Will

Powder coat is prob the lowest maint way to go
They now make a powder coat that looks like chrome
not as reflective - but still nice
polishing - you will have to polish them every once in a while
chrome - you will have to polish them and they will still have a chance to rust and peel

nah I had the stock alloys on my truck and still have them just thought it'd be cool to chrome them. I have polished rims on my truck now though.

Default I've got some on my truck...

I got these off of eBay about 2 years ago for $325 shipped to my door. I have gotten quite a few compliments on them since most people have never seen chrome stockers. They are kinda plain jane yet have some bit of 'bling'. I'm an older fart who is more into the "Go" than the "Show". Here's a pic; I have more if needed:

Those look really nice

I saw some chrome plated Z71 Tahoe rims at the local dealer, but they weren't done very well...

Chromed. I've seen them on eBay quite a few times although they usually are asking $500-$600 for the set. For that kind of money, might as well get something custom in my opinion. I couldn't pass these up for the price paid.
