I think you right for the supercharged motors, but for the N/A guys, its a good investment. I can't tell you how manys times I wonder how much oil is in my intake from cleaning so much. And I really don't worry about the CFM's to much, cuz it is a big filter. I think its only utilizing about half of the filter, otherwise you would to change your injectors sucking that much air. But I could be wrong.

Default Somebody help an old dude out!

How can you tell the dimensions of those K&N wraps on Stylin's site? I have the Volant intake but I've replaced the filter with a K&N universal conical filter (RU-2800). It's 7" long with a 5" base flange, 4.125 top.

Thanks in advance!

You can call them or type in your truck make, year and model, and it should bring it up for you.

Some good info here...I'm still debating whether I want to invest in a filter wrap or an AEM dry filter that will fit my Volant. I checked my filter a few weeks ago, which has only been installed for about 6 or 7K, and one side of it was impacted with crud. I just turned it 180* and figured I'd deal with it in another 5K.

Make sure you do a good seach on those dry filters, I heard they are NOT so good. I can't remember why, but check on them first.

Thanks man, I'll definitely do some homework before I drop 50 or so bucks on one of em (or whatever they cost...I'm sure they aren't cheap)...wanna make sure that they're all that they're cracked up to be. They're still pretty new, but hopefully by the time I'm ready, some of us PT.net guys who are using them will have some feedback. I'm sure that there's flow numbers and other info floating around out there already.
