Default Bumper Cover Options

I've been trying to decide how I want the front end on my truck to look and I've always liked the look of the SS trucks. Is it possible to use this on my truck or would I have to modify it and maybe even blend it in with the top bumper cap on the truck already?

I have not seen any for the GMC. I dont think it will fit since the grill of the GMC does come down low and make that indention into the bumper. Plus on the 99-02 silverado, where the bumper meets the fender, the bumper comes up. I believe the GMC does not have this. I think if you compare the SS bumpers on a 03 and above you might have better luck, since the grill does come down a little (like the GMC) and the where the bumper meets the fender it is flat ( does not come up to meet the fender) so it might work in that respect.

If you look at this bumper it looks like you might have better luck with an 03 and above.

Compare to 03 GMC truck (damn this truck is pimp)

And Gonzo

Actually seeing how clean your truck looks with it was what made me start looking at it. The thought I had was if your could cut the SS cover(like yours) where it would meet my top bumper cap and than fiberglass everything together. I know I've seen a GMC truck or yukon somewhere that the top bumper cap went all the way across, I'm thinking they might have used the bumper off of a Silverado HD, cause I'm pretty sure that their grills dip down a little like the GMC trucks do. I was just looking at this, cause it would be unique and standout since I hadn't seen it anywhere else. I know that with enough money anything would be possible, but on a college student budget I'm trying to keep from having to get out of as much fab/body work as I can. Plus this is something I wouldn't wanna tackle on my own, as my body work skills aren't qualified for this kinda job.

BTW, desTRUCKtive, have you got any other pictures of your truck from the side by chance to where I could use them to compare, and maybe even show to my paint/body guy to see what he thinks? He's done work similar to what I'm wanting to do on mine I know for a fact, cause his 01 Silverado has a cover on the front that he molded/fiberglassed to the rest of his bumper.

Man I like the 03+ GMC front end they look tight!! You should get that front end on yours IMO. The SS front I think only looks good on the 03+ chevys!!
