Make sure you use an adhesion promoter or I can't quite remember the name but they make something to add to the paint to make it bend and stretch with plastic. If you don't use this then after 4 or 5 months the paint will start to crack b/c of the sun making the paint shrink. Good luck. Looks good.

Think you'd have to sand blast it or something. Not wanting to do that just yet.
Did use an adhesion promoter. Urethane primer and paint. Hopefully it holds up.

bulldog adhesion promoter works good. Also, the flex agent that you can add to paint usually on gives it flex for a given time period, enough to put the parts back on without cracking them. At least all the flex agents I have used say that. I have painted a ton of plastic parts and bumper covers without it and they have held up without a problem.

Thanks bud. Had a lot of doubt about the lower valence being the same color as the stripe but think its gonna turn out okay.

I'll look for the Bulldog stuff. Keep it in the cabinet for future stuff.
