Bumper adjustment
#1
Does anyone know how to adjust the front bumper? I have been looking at other trucks and mine has a gap between the grill and the bumper (see attached picture) that is about 1/2 inch greater than the other trucks.
From the way it mounts, I can't figure how to adjust it, much less even if it is adjustable.
Thanks for any info.

I did it to mine, but I think I am the only one who has done it to my knowledge. What you have to do is take you bumper off, there are two brackets holding the middle part of the bumper up and one bracket on each side of the bumper. When you get the bumper off, you have to take the two middle brackets off and cut a section out of the brackets so the bumper can be lifted using washers (5 or 6 on each side). (note: the two brackets on the outside edges of the bumper dont have to be modified since they can swing up and down) This should get rid of your gap, it made my fit and finish look alot better.
P.S you will know where to cut the brackets because when you have them off the bumper, place them back against the mounts on the frame and you will see where you will have to cut them in order for them to fit when you raise the bumper.
I used a hack-saw and it took some elbow grease to get the sections cut out of the brackets, Good luck.
