Yeah, that trade in value is stupid. I had my old truck appraised at carmax, and the appraiser came back saying that my tires were oversized and that the truck had been devalued for that reason. I had 20" wheels on it, but made damn sure the tires were identical in height to OE. So I told them, and did the math on the tires right there for him. He said it doesn't matter, the number doesn't change. Of course I told him that's a load of bullshit, and he didn't say anything. Carmax is a shady company.

Nice to see it worked out for you in the end.

Yeah car max is pure bullshit. Highway robbery at best. Just a national level buy here pay here type place. New truck looks great, the old one in AZ is worth easy 7k but you are in a much more damaging area rust wise. I say toss the wheels on see how you like them and swap them back if you don't since you got nothing to lose anyway.

Believe it or not the not the only thing rusted on that truck was a little spot under the passenger rear door that I sanded and took care of.
It's funny carmax emailed me about feedback from my experience so I'm going to send a nice email back about how I feel.
Thanks for the kind words again fellas, I'm gonna see how the wheels look they might match with the chrome bumpers, I got nothing to lose with the brand new tires on em.

Looks great. Hell I wouldve paid $2500 for that truck easy lol. Throw the denali wheels on the new one and post a pic. I bet they would look good. The stock 2014's are bringin $1500+ all day here in tx.
