Default Broken arm rest question on rear buckets in Sub

One of the arm rests on the rear (2nd row) buckets appears to be broken. It droops about 2 inches lower than level when in the down position. The dealer has the truck right now to replace the rear AC evaporator and I asked them to look at the rear arm rest. They said $480 to fix it. Does this sound right?
I think someone at Chevy needs to lay off the crack.

lay off the crack is right. $480 just to replace the armrest? Fid out exactly whats wrong with it and see if you can replace it by getting parts from a cheaper place

i would see if your arm rest button is stuck. there is a small pin hole on the bottom of the arm rest near the pivot point of the arm. if that buttom is stuck your arm rest will drop till it touched the seat. Hope that helps.
