Sorry but on topic of AL vs CH. Chrome owns. More durable 10 fold. and I have al wheels.

Used to be John , sad but with all these wheels bieng chromed in China the quality is **** and even the factory wheels are peeling and pitting

Is this not why we now have the cheap *** chrome clad plastic hubcaps ?

Sucks , chrome used to be good , but I too love the look of polished alum way better , it's just a bitch to keep it looking new .

18 wheeler tire...might be too big. I think I have a spare 285/75-16 to donate to the cause. should be plenty to do a 20" rim if you cut the top sidewall out.
