Where did you find that for 2gs? Or you just mean for the rears? Sounds cheap.

Drilled may look good but i wouldnt reccommend them for street driving.

Slotted are the way to go, no cracking.

tim, forgive me for being an idiot when it comes to brakes, but why are drilled rotors not good for street use?

How do we know your an idiot ?? LOL Cmom no question is dumb, you will see me ask a lot here too ! haha!

The drilled holes in the rotors leave them more prone to cracking(weak point) , on the street we see many variables, like the track, but we also have to dodge water also, hot rotors and water contact help the weakest part ( IE where the holes are drilled) to crack.

Heck ive seen road race cars that have cracked rotors after a race, but they need maximum cooling/ venting for their high perf. braking systems, so the drilled slotted are fine for them, but they replace them after every race.

Ive never seen or heard of a slotted rotor that has cracked on our trucks, and lots of guys here run just slotted rotors, so thats why i reccommmend them, I by no means am a Brake Expert.

You can get stock drilled/slotted rotors for cheap on eBay, be careful about quality though! New brake kits with bigger rotors get into the thousands of dollars as you pointed out.
