Default Brake dust

Does anyone have any solutions for keeping brake dust off the wheels? I know you cant eliminate it but its becoming a really bad issue and I know its not bad brakes. I just had all the brakes replaced about 4 months ago. Im not sure about the look of those brake cover things.....there pretty cheap looking aren't they? These billet wheels are a pain in the rear to keep clean!

Aside from trying to find pads that don't dust as much try waxing your wheels. You can use whatever wax/sealant you use on your paint or if you're lazy like me use a spray wax. Your best bet is to keep them maintained by washing the wheels every week using a car wash solution and a wash mitt, dry them, then spray and wipe your spray wax.

The best way to stop brake dust is to eliminate it all together with quality break pads. If you arent using wagner or oem ac delco pads then it doesnt matter how old they are, they are going to produce brake dust because they are a cheaper quality pad.

What he said, I have black center wheels and still couldnt keep them clean with "high quality pads". Switched back to OEM and all is good.

True, very true. My stock pads lasted to 131,XXX miles, then turned right around and spent the $300.00 or so to pick up stock pads and top quality rotors! The old rotors were close to there tolerance, didn't want to turn them and end up with warped rotors the first time I had to emergency stop. They are awesome by the way!
