Default bowtie paint work

I have had a stylin trucks powder coated black bowtie for a few years, and today I got bored with it. Just to see how it would turn out I got some touch up paint and gave it a shot.

I like it...gives it an almost classy look.

Love the idea, and it probably looks good from a distance. However, up close, you can probably see where the paint got outside the lines and it may look tacky. Edge it out a little better, and it will look awesome.

I agree with this comment.

I like the idea, but the execution was a little sloppy.

So you are going to remove the paint that isn't on the raised portion of the tie i hope? A few mins of taping would have done wonders.

a q-tip and acetone should clean up the edges.. I don't think (think being the keyword) it will hurt the powder coating.

If left on too long Acetone can damage a powder coated surface. Also that looks to be matte black. If you rub it too much you may begin to polish it into a gloss black.
