bought 05 Tahoe splitter and can't get it on 05 3500

What am I doing wrong? I think I got the right thing but the fit seems to be way off

Well the front ends on an '05 Tahoe and an '05 pickup are completely different...?

that is what the guys use on the bottom of the silvy ss front bumper, not sure of the regular bumper fitting though....
