Default Blinking Air Recirculate Button

Hey guys. The button that u push to change between fresh air and recirculated air for the cab is blinking when u press on it to choose one or the other. does anyone know what this is. it does not stay on anymore. blinks maybe four or five times and then goes away. help! thx

Not sure, but do you have a filter in th e truck for the A/C? Check the owners manual.

yea, if you have it on defrost the recirculate will not work, it will keep going back to the fresh air. other than that i dont' know what would be causing it.

I don't think it will stay on with the heater either, but I could be wrong.

you guys are right.. i was messing with it last nite. as soon as i moved it from feet/defrost to feet/front it would let the air recirculate. gms cars can be so picky. anyway, thx for the help!!
