Default Black rear bumper

I want to replace my stock chrome rear bumper with a black bumper. Ultimately, I think the best way of doing this is sand blasting my chrome bumper and then powder coating it black to match my truck's black paint. Is this a good idea or should I just buy a new bumper already painted black? I found this bumper on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BUMPE...spagenameZWD1V

Has anyone bought bumpers from this company before? Should I just buy this bumper instead?

Exactly. I think you could easily find a local who would be willing to trade you for your chrome bumper, maybe even + a few bucks

+1 for the W/T bumper idea (that's what i'm doing, got it in the garage)

If you can't get one in a trade or for a decent price, then I say go for the powdercoating your chrome one.

Just do a swap maybe even go to a dealer ship and see if they'll swap.

i just bought a take-off bumper off Ebay, I paid $220 delivered for it and they painted it black for me (using GM paint code) at a bodyshop... I thought that was a pretty good deal...
