Black Chrome Wheels
Has anyone painted their chrome wheels with a black chrome coating? I've seen a lot of folks just paint them solid black, but not too many have gone for that "dark chrome" effect that I love. I have used the Duplicolor kit on some other parts before on different cars and liked the effect, but haven't tried it on something as chip happy as wheels before. Has anyone else used that particular kit on their wheels? Please post some pics if you got em.

Ive never seen them painted black chrome but i have seen black chrome finish rims and those are pretty badass. I have no idea if you could get those kind of results out of a rattle can

I agree that the rattle can probably wouldn't look as good or last as well over time, but I was just talking about painting my cheap stock 16's for now. If they were nicer wheels, I would probably just do a swap for some they were already plated or get them powder coated. Either way, I haven't seen a lot of trucks on here with black chrome wheels so keep the pics coming. I have a black '03 Silverado so I would really like to see a set on a truck like that.
