Default Billionith what wheel thread

So the time has finally come where i can really start putting money into the truck, for my silverado SS front clip I just need my hood and grille, which are both on order. Now I got to think about wheels, Im pretty well set on oem wheels because there usually cleaner looking and I just like them more. So I got a few rims picked out. Id like to stick to the SS replica theme and run chrome or the silver painted SS 20s, but I also really like the tahoe 20s, BUT! I hear guys saying how big of a difference in power they feel with a smaller rim compared to the 20s, So Im open to suggestions for an 18 rim.

Dont look at my signature trying to decide what will look nice, my truck will either be arrival blue or the blue that is on the new pontiac g8 by summer time, with the SS front clip and probably a 2/4 drop

Thanks!

I always liked bluecajun5.3's when he had the centerlines,

if you can find centerline, or some other forged 20" its not a bad way to go

The big difference guy feel with a smaller rim compared to 20's is because of reduced weight. You can still save weight with 20's if you go to centerlines or a few other brands. Here is a link worth checking out. It has some centerlines as well as the SS wheels http://www.performancetrucks.net/for...d.php?t=127780

The centerlines tiat Bluecajun has weigh around 10 lbs less per wheel than stock SS rims.

I read somewhere (?) that reducing a pound on your wheels is like 8 pounds anywhere else, something about "unsprung weight". Hopefully someone can elaborate.

I actually prefer your wheels (95 Bright Tiel) over cajun's....you have a clean looking truck.
