Is it possible. I know my 04 2500HD "bench seat" is in three peices. Would it be possible to convert it over to a center console in the middle? If so what kind of $$$ are we talking here.

 

ye tou should be able to find the middle (bitch seat) some wear. you could get the one that folds down were you have a arm rest/storage when it is down or seat when up. your other option is to do away with it and get a console and i guess this is what you want. the only down fall is yo will not have arm rest. and that is the only reason i have not done it.

 

did it in mine, got rid of the jump seat and put in a console.
I agree with sleeper, you loose the arm rest, so you have to sit in a diffrent position to pimp....LOL
but you will have to remove all the seats in order to remove your center seat. then make sure you get the bracket that goes with the console. other wise you wont have a way to bolt it down.

 

I'm doing this right now. I have a reg cab and I'm taking the middle fold down console out and putting an 03 full floor console in. If you want you can unbolt the passenger side seat all the way out and just the two inner bolts of the driver side and you can get it out. That's what I did to mine.

 

How much does it cost to get the center console?? I need one for a that GMC Grey interior. Its going in my crew cab, so I have to have the one that has the back on it.

 

What model is your truck? You can find 99-02 consoles on E-Bay all the time. I had to have an 03 for mine, whch is very hard to find! I found a guy willing to trade me his for my middle console seat.

Yeah those are going to be really hard to find man. An 02 one will work but I'd rather have an 03-up. I just lucked up and found somebody willing to trade with me. Keep checking the boards on here and you may find one. I priced one at a dealer one time and it was $1200!! And that's not including the other parts you'll need to make it work.

 

I had one in my truck. I painted it Indigo blue like the truck. It was ok but it irritated me, not having my arm rests. So i sold it on ebay and put my seat back in.

 

Whats the difference between an 02 Center Console and a 03-04 Center Console??
