Default Belltech Spindles?

I've read negative reports about the Belltech spindles on this site. What's the problems you've encountered?

On the flip side, is anyone using them that can report in with positives? Ride and handling quality?

Could use some help here, guys.

Thanks for your input!

I don't have any experience with them, but I have read that the belltech spindles take away from your turn radius. I think most will suggest McGaughys because it doesn't affect your turn radius. Personally I want to use DJM control arms.

I use to run the djm control arms my truck wasn't very level with that and the flip kit in the rear. If you only want to go 2/4 I'd suggest hotckis but if you are going to go with a spindle I have heard good things about mcgaugy's

someone correct me if I am wrong..but
Belltech spindles - you have to flip the upper control arm and flip the outer tie rod ends
This takes away from the turn radius.
I tried a set of McGaughy spindles - no flipping of anything - but if your going to run 17in wheels - you have to relo the lower ball joint - means drilling out the rivets - PIA - I switched to coils in the front/leafs in the back - If you are running 18's or larger - not one problem with the McGaughys
Their product was real nice. All hardware was inc.

I used DJM 2 inch lower A arms and 4 inch shackle and hanger kit. You get to keep the factory front ride plus you can re-align the toe and camber back to perfect. Before you lower the front make sure to measure between the center of the hub to the edge of fender on both sides and write it down. My dads truck cam from the factory 1 inch lower on the passenger side. This is just my 2 cents.

Yes, the turn radius sucks @ss with the Belltech spindles. It will make slow speed tight turns a pain. Other than that, i have no complaints about the ride quallity.

I wouldn't ever have Belltech spindles. Get Mcgaughy's alot easier to install and better quality.

I have the McGaughys spindles and notice I've lost some turn radius.

On the other hand, it is still a quality part. I found when doing my research that the Belltechs pushed out the front wheels a little bit. Yuck, I said.
