Bed Protection ..WHAT DO YALL HAVE?
#31
I have nothing right now. I didn't really want to get a spray-in, but considering I use it for work too, I need one. My original plans were to get a Snugtop and a Bedrug. I've got to carry my gang box every now and then, so a Snugtop would be in the way. Besides, it wil be cheaper just to get a spray-in ($350) than a Snugtop($950) and a Bedrug ($350).

A friend of mine got a spray in and it looked gray after just a year or two. Some LineX dealers offer a 'clear-coat' type of protection that will keep the liner from fading. It goes for an extra $100 or so. I saw another truck with a bed rug and after 2 years, it looked brand new. The guy said that he hasn't had any trouble with mold and that after a rain, it didn't take too long to dry. I used to love the spray in liners, but I would hate to drop that kind of money just to have it fade. It might not, but I wouldn't want to take that chance. I'm planning on getting a Snuglid anyway, so who cares, right?

I also have a spay on and I love it. I went with "Superliner" It is kind of a cross between a Line X and Rhino liner. The advantage to it is the paint is mixed in with the spray so unlike Line X you can't tell if it gets scratched and It will never fade like Rhino liner. It is not abrasive like Line X.

Herculiner makes a diy kit for 100 bucks. Nothin to doing it. Or ive seen the bedliner stuff in a can. It may not be a true spray in, but anything will help!! If you get some scratched off, but a little more on it! Thats my plans anyway, but i really dont haul much.
