Default Badge and Trim Removal HELP!!

I'm in the process of removing all my trim and the badging off my 2005 Silverado. I was pulling off the top black plasic trim around the bed and ran into a problem. (see pics.) There are TONS of holes along the top. What should I do to cover these? I'm going to be doing a spray in bed liner next week so I could run the liner over the top of the railing??? Or I could just put the trim back on. What have others done?? Thanks for the help.

well either way, if u wanted 2 u could run the liner on the bed rails and down a little further on the gate. I wouldnt recommend it simply cuz I hate the look of the bed rails being coated but if u have the time/money go get them bondo'd or tac some metal over them and re paint the gate and all

What, did someone drill a bunch of holes in the top rails of the bed? They make smooth paintable bed caps that you could use, or just get the over the rail liner done but only get it done on the flat top surface, not over the edge...doesn't look bad at all. I'd be leary of getting the liner matched to the truck (unless the truck is black,lol)...I've seen a few and they never seem to match all that well, especially as they age.

I had my liner sprayed over the rails, but my truck is black so I don't know that this pic will help you any.

The top railing had black plasic covers over it. When I took them off there were about 10 tabs on each side which held it down. SUCKS... Factory GM 2005 truck??? They were not drilled. It came from the factory like that.

You can get a smooth cap and have it painted to match your truck if you look below I had one on my truck many moons ago, got it from StylinTrucks.com

I ended up getting the holes filled and this is how she looks now
