Default Anyone have Tint with rear defroster?

How does it look, I'm wanting to go 5% all around, but I'm worried about how the rear will look. I've seen some that had it done and had bubbles in it and looked like crap, but maybe I just noticed those because of that. I'm hoping that there are others that I didn't notice just because they were done right. I need some opinions on whether to do it or not. I'll be having guys with 10+ years experience doing it, so they got skills.

a good shop should have no problem tinting over defroster lines and making it so you dont see white outlines along the defroster lines or bubbles. if this guy has the experience you say he does, i think you'll be all set.

Yeah, as long as you get it professionally done, you're all set. I'm pretty sure almost every car on the road has a rear defroster, and I've seen plenty of professionally tinted windows without any problems with the defroster.

Problem is finding a shop that will tint the windows darker than the law allows. Of course.... they usually stop their "that's against the law" rant when you tell them you're paying cash...
