Default Anyone with 18's and Nitto 555R DR's out back?

I'm thinking either 285/35-18, 305/35'S or 305/45's. Any pics?

alot of the lightning guys run the 305/45-18's out back but the recomended wheel width is 9.5". im thinking about having 2 of my wheels widened so i can fit them to take care of my traction issues.

Jim's truck is the only GMT800 that I've been able to find so far with the 18" DR's out back.

Where or how would you go about getting your wheels widened? I need to get a set of 20 x 8.5 wheels widened to 20 x 10.5. Is it possible and is it really $$$??

im not sure how much it costs, but it can be done. someone posted a website that does it a few months back but im sure i could find someone in houston to do it for cheaper. im guna call up the guys who rehooped my boyd coddington wheel that i smacked against a curb. you couldnt even tell there was a gouge almost all the way around the wheel when they were done with it

03gmc had nitto 555r's on his boyds. maybe the pics are still hosted on his myspace.

Good call! You'll be happy to know that I might be getting rid of my Boyds.

haha, i dont see how anyone enjoys polishing them daily...im a perfectionist so i cant have milky stained up wheels haha. mine has to look like chrome 24/7 and i dont have time to polish, and i think chrome looks cheap (and its too heavy).

I polish mine 3-4 times/yr. I coat them with a little wax after each polish, and keep them covered when I'm not driving the truck though.

I have to admit that there are better wheels out there--Intro and Budnik especially--and that my Boyd's don't shine quite as well as those.

EDIT: Here's the rims I'm trying to chase down. I'd stick with the 255/45-18's up front, but run 285/35-18 DR's out back:
