Just wondering if any DIY'ers have tried this simplified system?

I haven't but I really want to. Looks pretty fool proof since theres no mixing or reducing involved. Only downside to me is that its lacquer paint so the paint would be pretty soft and swirl easily.

I need to buy a beater so I can paint it.................

I thought lacquer was tougher than that..........is it the same as the old LACQUERS where you had to color sand and buff?

I'm no expert and I could be wrong but lacquer is generally pretty soft. I'm not sure if it's exactly the same as the old school lacquer paint but I would expect to wet sand and buff any paint job to reduce/eliminate orange peel and for maximum clarity.

What are you looking to paint?
