Exclamation American Eagle 219 18x9.5 Purchase

Would anyone be interested in a group purchase of American Eagle 219 Wheels in 18x9.5. They are not making them now in that size but told me if I could get an order of 100 (25 trucks) they would cut em. We're looking at pretty much retail for them, ~$250. The 18x8's are listed at the same price and I have gotten quotes anywhere from $850-1000 on that smaller width. So assume that range for these wheels as well. Only come in a 6 bolt. I posted this up a couple places to see how much interest people have.

Let me know if you are interested,
Andrew

What kind of priceing are we looking at? I would be willing to get a set if the price was right.

Pries on AE's site are listed as $249 per wheel....which after looking at what seems like every conceivable wheel out there, is a pretty good deal in my eyes. The 18x8 are listed at the same price and I've got pricing from some people on that at around $850, so say $850/1000 for a set. They don't even make em now that wide, so I'm just trying to get em cut here.

You mean a lip that would wouldn't be able to put conventional weights on? I'm not sure, but I doubt it unless everyone wants that and it takes no engineering time for them to change that. I agree it looks better, but I would go under the assumption that since it takes this much to get them to even make em, then they woudn't want to put much, if any, extra design time into it. I'm starting a list up top.

From what I understand it's a two piece wheel. Most wheel manufacturers get their hoops, barrels from the the same distributor the only custom part is the design that is welded in. So it wouldn't seem to take much work. I don't think it's available in 1/2 sizes though.
