I was looking real close at my truck and just wanted to pop these little covers off, and I wanted to know what their purpose was? Is there anything I can do to route air with these openings? should i leave the covers on ?
thanks. (I took these pics in the night)

just get upder the truck under the front bumper, reach up where the little covers are, and push them out. you can't really route air from them CUZ THEY'RE TINY....but you can either take them out for good or take them out and paint them and put'em back in. i pulled mine out, sanded them and popped'em back in.

I took mine out the first week I had my truck. I removed them from my smooth cover before having it painted as well. I think it looks better without them.

I HATE those thing and also took them out and trashed them. The thing that agrivates me the most is the black ones on the painted top bumper cap of vehicles off the lot. my .02$

I popped mine out, Dremeled off the 2 bars in each hole, then put a homemade speed grill in the holes. Looks pretty cool. I'll try to get pics sometime.
