Hey Solowsilverado,

I was trying to change the bulbs in my AC panel but my leds burnt out as soon as I turned on the power. I was using the 5mm 2600 45 degree Blue leds. Do you have any suggestions or tips??

if you arent using a resistor in series with LEDs then, they will burn up nearly instantly. You need to use V=IR with I being the forward current, and V being 14 volts minus the voltage drop across the LED, to figure out what resistor you will need. There are calculators all over the iternet that will do it for you.

Can someone post the pic in this thread for some reason my computer wont load the pic. I really have been wanting to do this to match my blue backlit escalade cluster and my autometer cobalt gauges.
